Vicky Pattinson has revealed that Lewis Capaldi ignored her request to sing at her wedding after she drunkenly slid into his DMs.
The former Geordie Shore star is planning her wedding to TOWIE's Ercan Ramadan after he romantically popped the question during a lavish break to Dubai last year. The reality star couple are planning to tie the knot next year as Vicky opened up about her attempts to book entertainment for the big day.
Speaking on her podcast, Vicky shared that she slid into the Bruises' singer's Instagram DMs, inviting him to perform after they shared a sweet interaction on the app. The 35-year-old recalled the time where she called Lewis funny on social media, and believed that made the pair mates.
Speaking on her The Secret to podcast, Vicky shared: "I reposted something about him being really funny, and he liked it. He commented and I wrote back ‘Never Change’ - and I thought that was a nice little exchange.
“I completely assumed it meant more than it did, I thought I am friends with Lewis Capaldi now. Which I’m not in any sort of capacity.”
Vicky confessed she then asked sent him a direct message on the platform asking “What would it take for you to sing at my wedding” as he could “s*** all the single bridesmaids you want, son.”
However, she hilariously added that not only did Lewis ignore her message - he read it and then ignored the star's request for him to perform.
Despite not taking Vicky up on her offer to perform at the nuptials in exchange for bedding bridesmaids, Lewis performed at Manchester United player Dean Henderson's wedding last year. The goalkeeper celebrated 'the most beautiful day' on Instagram after he married his girlfriend where Lewis sung their first dance song.
This comes after Lewis praised his 'understanding' girlfriend Ellie MacDowall, 23, but admitted he's not ready to start a family just yet. The couple were first linked in December after sharing snaps enjoying a hike together and the pair were later seen sharing a kiss at the Brit Awards in February
Speaking of Ellie, Lewis said: “She’s good. She’s chilled. She’s very understanding of my situation given I’m away a lot. She’s cool.”
The West Lothian singer now lives in a flat in Glasgow's West End but previously bought a £1.6m farmhouse in East Renfrewshire and admitted it was intended as a family home. He said: “I envisioned if I ever had a family I’d live in that place up in Eaglesham. But it’s not me getting broody. Definitely not.”
