As Nottingham celebrates the return of Nottingham Forest to the Premier League, fans spotted Vicky McClure celebrating the victory with partner Jonny Owen. As the club faced Huddersfield Town for their championship play-off final at Wembley Stadium on Sunday, surrounded by a crowd of 80,000, Nottingham's celebrity couple didn't hide their delight as the final whistle blew.
Recording the moment on her phone, the Line of Duty star videoed fans and players as she panned around the stadium capturing the momentous 1-0 win and the atmosphere at the ground. Standing alongside her partner and Forest director, Jonny Owen, Vicky tweeted: "CONGRATULATIONS @NFFC. A very happy Jonny, now director of a premier league club!!! #soproud A very happy family and a very happy city!!! What an experience!"

The Nottingham-born actor was seen jumping from her seat as Forest scored. She was also spotted shaking the hand of midfielder James Garner after the match as the team paraded through to receive their medals and lift the cup.
Although Vicky has previously gone on record to state that she's a County fan, with her family split between the two Nottingham sides, she admitted "I do like both clubs if I’m honest". However, she has revealed she won't be back in Notts to continue the celebrations.
Old Market Square is currently being turned into a fanzone for Forest supporters to celebrate with the players. Today, Monday, May 30, trams will temporarily stop through the area, buses will be diverted and at 1pm comedian and lifelong Forest supporter Matt Forde alongside BBC Radio Nottingham commentator Colin Fray will host a special event. Fans are being asked to not arrive any earlier than 11.30am.
Vicky said: "Gutted not to be in Nottingham today of all days!! But wishing the city, @NFFC and all the supporters the best celebration!!!".
