Just over a week after revealing his plans to ditch the cinema halls to release his next film 'Govinda Naam Mera' on OTT, Bollywood star Vicky Kaushal's on Friday, announced the official release date of the movie.
"Govinda naam mera, naachna kaam mera. Aa raha hun jald, apni kahaani le kar! #GovindaNaamMera streaming from 16th December," the actor wrote while sharing a funky new character poster.
The film's leading ladies Kiara Advani and Bhumi Pedenkar also took to their handles to spread the word. "Ayeee, Gauri aa rahi hai. Taiyaar ho ki nahi?" Bhoomi captioned her poster.
Kiara on the other hand, shared her character's fashionable poster and wrote, "Come and say hi huku with Suku!"
Dropping some hints about what to expect in this upcoming entertainer, Karan Johar shared the new posters and wrote, "Hero, his wife & his girlfriend - what could possibly go wrong, right? A LOT it seems! Get ready for some murder, mystery, madness & masala!"
"Plot twists that will leave you in a tizzy! Get ready because some masaledaar entertainment is coming straight to your home screens," he added.
Shashank Khaitan's film 'Govinda Naam Mera' will premiere on Disney+ Hotstar.
Describing her forthcoming feature "Govinda Naam Mera" as a "unique film", actor Kiara Advani says she is thrilled to part of the project. "'Govinda Naam Mera is a unique film. It is quite trippy, in fact I still have to figure out the name of the genre because it is absolutely different. I was thrilled to be a part of that world. We have tried something new with the film. I hope people find it as interesting as we did," Kiara told PTI.
