Vice President Kamala Harris recently engaged in a phone banking event to garner support from local Democrats. The event took place at the Harris campaign’s field office in Beaver County, where Harris had a brief but impactful interaction with an Erie, Pennsylvania resident.
Accompanying Harris were Minnesota Gov. Tim Walz, second gentleman Doug Emhoff, and Minnesota first lady Gwen Walz. Together, they visited the campaign’s field office in Rochester and actively participated in phone banking by speaking with supporters.
During the event, Sen. Bob Casey, Rep. Chris Deluzio, state Rep. Malcolm Kenyatta, and Beaver Falls Mayor Kenya Johns also joined in to show their support.
One of the highlights of the event was when Harris had a conversation with a supporter over the phone, where she expressed her gratitude and promised to visit the individual during the campaign's next stop in Erie.
Emphasizing the significance of the upcoming election, Harris stressed the importance of everyone's participation. She highlighted that this election is considered the most crucial of our lifetime, urging all citizens to engage actively in the democratic process.
