Today, Vice President-elect JD Vance was seen at the Capitol in Washington as discussions continued in Speaker Johnson's office with members of the House Freedom Caucus regarding the potential government shutdown. Vance arrived at the Capitol before 8 a.m. and chose not to respond to questions from Fox News reporters as he made his way inside. He opted for a back stairway, and it remains uncertain whether he participated in the meeting with Freedom Caucus members in Speaker Johnson's office.
