The Victorian Labor government has promised to up the ante on its signature level crossing removal program if re-elected next month.
Premier Daniel Andrews came to power in 2014 on a platform to remove 50 level crossings by 2022 and raised that target to 75 by 2025 before the 2018 state election.
Another 10 level crossings were added to the list in July and 67 in total have been removed so far.
Exactly one month out from polling day, Mr Andrews said Labor would remove 110 level crossings by 2030 and make the Werribee line level crossing-free.
"We've already removed four level crossings on the Werribee line, but there's more to do," he said on Wednesday.
The remaining five Werribee line level crossings are located at Spotswood, Newport, Altona, Yarraville and Newport.
A cost has not been outlined for their removal.
