Indigenous used as political football in Welcome debate

A prominent Indigenous leader accuses politicians of using Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people as a "political football" after two opposition leaders criticised Welcome to Country ceremonies.

Federal Liberal leader Peter Dutton placed himself in the centre of the debate after a small group of hecklers including self-described neo-Nazi Jacob Hersant disrupted an Anzac dawn service in Melbourne.
