With the sun shining bright, many Brits will be excited to make the most of the glorious weather. However, if you’re a dog owner it’s important to understand the risk that the heat poses to your pooch.

According to Animal Friends pet insurance data, over the past year the average claim cost for treating sunstroke exceeded £400. With that in mind, Animal Friends pet insurance has teamed up with Dr Samantha Webster, vet at Joii Pet Care, to outline the four dangers to be aware of.
