‘Very high’ Covid cases not translating into hospitalisations or deaths, says Jenny Harries

Covid-19 infections are at “a very high level” but that they are not translating into hospital admissions and deaths, the chief executive of the UK Health Security Agency has said.

Dame Jenny Harries told BBC Radio 4’s Today programme there were three million people with Covid in the week to March 25 – “a very high level”.
