NEW DELHI: After the Men in Blue overcame their bitter rivals Pakistan by 6 runs in the T20 World Cup 2024, former Australia captain Ricky Ponting poured praise on India captain Rohit Sharma, stating that he is very 'experienced'.

Rohit opened the batting and scored 13 runs off of 12 balls, smashing one four and one six. Rohit was removed by Shaheen Afridi in the third over, hence his knock did not last very long.
