'Very clear' - Gary Lineker makes Darwin Nunez prediction after Liverpool goal

Gary Lineker says it's 'clear' from Darwin Nunez' equaliser against Fulham he's going to score 'bundles' of goals for Liverpool.

Jurgen Klopp 's side found themselves 1-0 down against the Premier League newcomers at half-time and it was substitute Nunez who drew things level after the break. Liverpool looked to be on top and were pushing for a second before Virgil van Dijk conceded a penalty and the hosts took the lead once again.

Nunez then turned provider as he registered an assist for Mohamed Salah to put the Reds level once again. But it wasn't enough for Liverpool to snatch the win as they took just a single point from their opening game.

Nunez was a standout performer for Liverpool and former England striker Lineker was impressed with the Uruguayan.

He said in a tweet: "Darwin Nunez equalises for Liverpool. Very clear, from that goal alone, that he’ll score bundles. The movement of a goal-scorer."

Rivals Manchester City take on West Ham on Sunday afternoon and Pep Guardiola will hope his side can capitalise on the dropped points.

Liverpool will need to put in a much improved display against Crystal Palace on Monday, August 15.
