‘Very alarming’: Laura Loomer says she feels ‘unsafe’ seeing Muslim workers at US airport amid Iran war

Laura Loomer, a far-right activist, on Wednesday said that she felt "unsafe" as there are too many Muslims appointed at the US airports.

In a post on X, Loomer said that when she landed in Atlanta, she saw so many workers wearing a hijab and called it "alarming."

"I flew back to the US last night after being abroad for a few days. I landed in Atlanta, Georgia before my connecting flight, and 4 out of 8 of the workers at customs were wearing hijabs. Why do we allow for Muslims to work as TSA agents and work inside US airports? It’s very alarming to me. We have too many Muslims in America. Makes me feel very unsafe," she said.

This statement came as US and Israel are fighting against Iran. The attack on the Muslim dominant country has instilled a fear among the public that the hate for the Muslim community will grow in the US.

Amid the growing hared in US, the Iranian refugee in Los Angeles said that Islam incompatible with Western civilisation. "We are so happy here. It's 47 years old, Iranian. We never been, you know, in the history. We never been Muslim. We are not and we won't be. And it's the biggest threat every country can face to it. And I want to say we are so happy. We are kicking out the mullahs and we'll take back our monarchy and our dignity," one of the refugees said.
