Max Verstappen continued his dominant form at the Spanish Grand Prix by topping all three practice sessions, despite rainy conditions, on Saturday. The defending double world champion set the pace in a mostly inconsequential session, outpacing his Red Bull teammate Sergio Perez by 0.250 seconds.
Verstappen set an early fastest time of 1:13.664, which remained unchallenged as rain persisted throughout the session. Lewis Hamilton, the seven-time champion, finished in third place for Mercedes but expressed dissatisfaction with overnight set-up changes to his car.
