Vernon Kay was quick to apologise to one This Morning guest on Monday when he was forced to cut their interview short.
Jessica Alves joined Vernon and his co-host Rochelle Humes in the ITV studio to discuss her surgery procedures as well as her plans for the future.
Explaining that she feels ninety five per cent content with her body now, Rochelle admitted she was concerned about the other five per cent.
Jessica explained: "My nose has been botched, I've had more than 10 plastic surgery on my nose, I've had problems and it has been impossible to find a surgeon around the world who can fix actually fix my nose. I've been to many countries and everyone says no."
"And what's the reason?" Rochelle inquired, as Jessica continued: "They say if they touch my nose, they say my nose will turn black and collapse."
"But don't you think that's a sign to maybe leave it?" Rochelle then said, sounding concerned.
"Well, but I would like to fix it, but if I can't, then I'll just have to live with it," she replied, before confirming: "I've very happy with my body, my curves, my gender reassignment surgery."
Vernon then asked: "Once you started your surgery, did it become addictive?"
Jessica replied: "I am easily seen as being addicted to plastic surgery, which is not. It's an unfair thing to say and let me say why. I am a woman, but it pains me to say this, I am a biological male. How could I call myself a woman, a female on my documents without having surgeries to transform me and turn me into a woman?"
Towards the end of the interview, Jessica touched upon her time in the Celebrity Big Brother house back in 2018.
At the time, Jessica hadn't transitioned to a woman yet and told Vernon and Rochelle: "I'm gonna just say something that I've never said on any other television show... in 2018 I was on Celebrity Big Brother and I was becoming desperate, very anxious.
"And I asked people, like the producers, 'please please send me some wigs, some dresses', because I was living as a crossdresser in secret and I was taking female hormones but nobody knew it so I was transitioning..."
As mother-of-three Rochelle went to respond, Vernon quickly jumped in and said: "Jessica, we could continue this conversation for a long, long time, unfortunately we're really pressed for time... I apologise on behalf of everyone on This Morning."
Rochelle was heard saying: "I'm sorry, I'm sorry," as the ITV daytime show quickly went to an advert break.
This Morning airs weekdays at 10am on ITV and ITV Hub.
