Vera stars Brenda Blethyn and Kenny Doughty have been spotted looking 'tense' while filming scenes for the upcoming series.
Although there are still two episodes of series 11 outstanding, with fans left scratching their heads on when they'll get to see them, after ITV pressed pause on the show for the second time in sixth months, production on series 12 is well underway, with the Vera cast shooting all over the region in the last few months.
Brenda, Kenny and their co-stars have been seen by eagle eyed fans in the likes of Morpeth and Amble in Northumberland, the Elswick area of Newcastle and further south in Darlington and Hartlepool. And as filming continues, Brenda and Kenny have been clocked in Wallsend.
