Vera actress Ibinabo Jack has spilled the beans on scenes from the ITV drama that have never made it to screen.
There was disappointment earlier this year when the much loved show made only a brief return to television, after the pause button had previously been pressed on series 11 after judge two episodes of the start of September 2021.
The gap between episodes was down to the coronavirus pandemic, with filming delayed in 2020 due to lockdown and restrictions.
After enjoying episodes one and two, Vera fans had a four month wait to get their next fix.

Locations like Blyth port and South Shields' Ocean Beach theme park were at the heart of the action as Brenda Blethyn donned her trademark trench coat and fishing hat to get back to the sleuthing exploits of her famous on screen alias.
Audiences in the region of five million tuned into the third and fourth episodes of series 11, before ITV pulled Vera from the schedules again, despite their still being two episodes remaining.
And now, with filming set to get going on series 12, Ibinabo, who plays DC Jacqueline Williams in Vera has spilled the beans on some scenes that will viewers will never get to see.
Speaking to the Daily Express , she said: "There are so many things that happen that don't make the final because we couldn't keep it together or certain shots that just looked funny.
“Kenny had to do a thing of pretending to walk down a flight of stairs. The stairs didn't exist, so we had to fake that he was going down the stairs and on set it looked ridiculous, but brilliant when we watched the episode back.”
Moving onto leading lady Brenda, Ibinabo added: “She's very good at welcoming people and I do see it now that I'm a regular.
“And when you've got guest actors in, she's very good at putting people at ease and she's very open-hearted and makes everyone feel comfortable.”
While fans wait impatiently to see the last two episodes of series 11, Vera series 10 has been repeated on Friday nights on ITV, but this week will make way for the new series of Grantchester.
When asked by ChronicleLive when the final two parts of series 11 will be on screen, ITV Drama said they "didn't have any news presently," on a transmission date.
