Vera Pauw says the Nations League game against Northern Ireland represents the “right opportunity” to bring the women’s national team to the Aviva for the first time.
The visit of the North on September 23 will be Ireland’s first game back after the World Cup in Australia and New Zealand.
Pauw said: “It is fantastic to know that our players will get to play in such an iconic stadium - one of the best in the world.
