In addition to shelters for people, Ventura County also established two shelters to accommodate animals during the evacuations, ensuring the safety and well-being of pets and livestock.

Recognizing the impact of precautionary power shutoffs on residents, Southern California Edison utility company stepped in to provide community resource centers and hotel assistance to those affected by the outages. These measures are aimed at reducing the risk of fire spread due to downed power lines, offering support to individuals facing power disruptions.

As the situation continues to unfold, the exact number of individuals utilizing the assistance provided by Southern California Edison remains unclear. However, efforts are ongoing to assist all those impacted by the Mountain Fire and its associated challenges.
