Veeramani trend: Madurai influencer seeks Diwali gifts on Insta, gets non-stop COD parcels of JCB, Rs 1.6 lakh TV, fridge, phone and Rs 70 crore army tank

A Deepavali sweets request on social media has left a Madurai-based content creator facing repeated unwanted deliveries and reportedly forced him to leave his home after followers began sending cash-on-delivery (COD) orders to his address, PTI reported. Veeramani, known for his humorous posts and use of local slang, had shared his residential address in West Anuppanadi on X in the hope that someone would send him a box of sweets for the festival.

Instead, his address was used to place a stream of orders for household appliances, electronic goods and food, according to the account provided. Delivery personnel from Amazon and Flipkart reportedly arrived with washing machines, refrigerators, smartphones and televisions, including one television order valued at Rs 1.69 lakh. Food delivery workers from Swiggy and Zomato also turned up at his residence.
