NEW DELHI: Shares of Vedanta plunged over 12 per cent on Monday after the company offered to sell a copper smelter complex in Tamil Nadu that was closed 4 years ago.
The mining major crashed 12.67 per cent on the benchmark BSE sensex to close at Rs 230.25. While, on the NSE the share declined 12.01 per cent to finish at Rs 232.25.
