After Vauxhall Motors were knocked out of the Macron Cup on penalties earlier this month, it was vital they got back to winning ways when facing 17th placed Litherland on Saturday afternoon.
It was a second half strike from Ben Holmes that won the game which resulted in a 2-1 scoreline.
Conor Harwood found Bobbie McDonnell with a great pass to the right wing in the opening minutes. McDonnell cruised past his marker but his shot was easily caught by keeper Adam Reid.
