The Vatican has recently published a document titled Dignitas Infinita, which denounces gender theory, transgender surgery, and surrogacy as threats to human dignity. The document, developed by the Dicastery for the Doctrine of the Faith (DDF) over a period of more than five years, focuses on contemporary challenges to human dignity.
According to the document, the Catholic Church emphasizes the intrinsic dignity of every human being, created in the image of God and redeemed through Jesus Christ. Dignitas Infinita addresses various issues such as abortion, human trafficking, poverty, euthanasia, and the death penalty, among others, from a scriptural and doctrinal perspective.
