The vast majority of Americans do not want to see the execution of former Army officer and mass murderer Nidal Hasan livestreamed. President Donald Trump on Thursday confirmed that won't happen in the end.

An ABC News/Washington Post/Ipsos poll found that about 80 percent of respondents did not think Hasan's execution should be livestreamed. In 2009, Hasan, then an Army psychiatrist, entered the Soldier Readiness Center of Fort Hood and shot and killed 13 people while wounding 32.
