Vans smashed in Dublin suburb as gardai establish 24-hour presence on road

Gardai have established a 24-hour presence on a south Dublin road after two vans were smashed this week.

The two incidents happened on Clonard Road in Kimmage on Monday and Tuesday. A witness told Dublin Live that a man smashed up a van parked on Monday night, and then returned on Tuesday afternoon and smashed another van.

Officers have now established a 24-hour presence on the road amid fear of further attacks.
