Vanity Fair publishes a report claiming Jared Kushner has $700 million in secret accounts. Now his lawyers are putting the outlet on notice

Chad Mizelle, the lawyer for Jared Kushner, announced on X on Saturday that his client has formally placed Vanity Fair and its owner, Condé Nast, on notice. The notice concerns a published report that the legal team says contains false and defamatory allegations. Mizelle stated that the magazine has not provided supporting documents after repeated requests.

The report in question is an excerpt from the book Princes and Thieves: Jared Kushner and Mohamed bin Zayed’s Secret Plot to Remake the Middle East. Author Matthew Cole, a former Intercept reporter, wrote that Russian security services hacked Kushner’s phone.
