Vanessa Williams has confirmed the death of her mother, Helen Williams, who was visiting London to see her perform in The Devil Wears Prada.

The actress, 60, who is starring as Miranda Priestly, shared the sad news on Instagram, where she detailed her mother’s "major decline in health" before passing away just 20 days after celebrating her 85th birthday.
