Ben, 50, had been engaged to Vanessa for 16 years, according to a report in Manchester Evening News. The Phats & Small singer who shot to fame as one half of the dance duo in 1998, also used social media for his response.
Speaking out on her Instagram on Sunday, February 5, This Morning agony aunt and broadcaster, Vanessa, 60, told her followers that she was "shocked" and "incredibly sad" as she addressed their split. In a frank video message she said the trust had been broken in their relationship. Ben has now shared a picture of a broken heart emoji on Instagram Stories.
