Vanessa Feltz returned to This Morning today after getting struck down with Covid.
The presenter had been missing from the show for a number of days after testing positive for coronavirus, but she returned to the ITV mid-morning show today, much to the excitement of hosts Phillip Schofield and Holly Willoughby.
Vanessa looked pleased to be back too as she hosted the phone-in about embarrassing children, and took part in the segment where This Morning give their views on today's news alongside her colleagues.
Noticing Vanessa had made her in-studio return, Holly was the first to ask how she was.
"Oh, she's back," Holly said excitedly, "How are you feeling?"
Vanessa then replied: "Alright, thank you. I'm fine. I cannot smell anything but apart from that, absolutely fine!"
Phil admitted it was a shame she'd lost her sense of smell as one of the chefs was cooking satay today, to which Vanessa joke back: "I cannot smell a thing. If I stick my nose in a jar of coffee, I cannot smell a thing."
Last week, Vanessa confirmed she had tested positive for Covid - minutes before after filming at the ITV studios.
"Well it is, gosh. I've got Covid so I don't really know what to say, it's a bit of a shock really," she told fans on Instagram, "I feel OK, I just did This Morning and then I gave a right cough while I was on the telly and I thought that's a bit weird, got on the back of the motorbike to come home again, felt slightly queasy, which I never do.
"Thought I must have a bit of a cold so I'd better test and there it is. Sending love to anyone else in this situation, I know I'm very very lucky to have avoided it for this long. Big kiss and hugs."
Her This Morning co-star wished her to get well soon, writing: "Oh no!!!! Hope your ok. Sending lots of love."
Vanessa is well known for discussing the wildest topics on This Morning, and recently she opened up about her sex life as she gave viewers tips on how to spice up their own sex lives.
"You could send a message saying don't forget to pick up the dry cleaning, you send a message where you say 'where the hell is my white shirt' or you could send a message saying something a little bit saucy instead or as well. And why not?" she said at the time.
