Valve founder Gabe Newell is doing billionaire things again with the $300 million purchase of a ship the size of an NFL football field designed to explore the deepest parts of the ocean

Steam and Valve's Gabe Newell.

In case you needed further proof that billionaires are living in a completely different world from the rest of us, Valve founder Gabe Newell is dropping $300 million on a giant ship to explore the deep ocean.
