A valuable piece of art has been stolen from a gallery in Bristol. The limited-edition piece - which police said has a value in the five figures - was stolen from a gallery in the Clifton Arcade at the end of August.

Police said that two men were seen in the area where the 27cm tall gold piece by Grayson Perry - made from glazed ceramic - was on display, just prior to its theft.

In a statement, Avon and Somerset Police said: "A valuable piece of art created by Grayson Perry has been stolen from a gallery in Bristol.
