Varanasi: A 25-year-old woman patient was allegedly raped by a sweeper when she had gone to the washroom of the divisional hospital of Mirzapur district on night of May 7. An FIR has been lodged while the accused is absconding.
The woman who hails from a village under the limits of Lalganj police station area of Mirzapur district, told her husband about the sexual when she was admitted to another hospital again on Monday after her health complications recurred. Her husband reported the matter to the police on Tuesday morning.
