KANPUR: A man allegedly tied his 22-year-old 'alcoholic' son to a tree and beat him to death in Bidhnoo’s Dhirpur village late Sunday night.
According to police, a heated argument had taken place between Iqbal Singh and his son Bablu, who was in an inebriated state, at their home in Dhirpur village of Bidhnu on Sunday night. Angry with his son for often quarreling with him and the other family members after consuming alcohol, Iqbal allegedly tied Bablu to a ‘ber’ tree and repeatedly hit him with a stick.
