LUCKNOW: A 24-year-old contractual employee of power department, who was summoned for questioning by Gonda police in a murder case, allegedly died in police custody on Wednesday evening, senior officials said.
On the complaint of the victim’s father, a case on charges of murder and other sections of the IPC was lodged against Nawabganj police station in-charge Tej Pratap Singh and constables Manoj, Dharmendra and Mithlesh Singh, police said. All of them were suspended on Thursday.
