AGRA: In a shocking incident, a two-and-a-half-year old boy was allegedly sacrificed by a tantrik (exorcist) to get his divine power back in Agra’s Jagner area. The boy’s body was found in Kiwar river two weeks ago. The accused has been arrested and remanded to judicial custody.
SP (west) Satyajeet Gupta said that exorcist Hukum Singh has been booked under relevant IPC Sections 363 (kidnapping), 302 (murder) and 201 (Causing disappearance of evidence of an offence committed). He said that investigations had revealed that it was a case of ‘human sacrifice’, performed by a man of the same village where the boy had lived.
