Lucknow: A 15-member delegation of the Samajwadi Party will visit Sambhal to gather information about the violence in which five people were killed, the party said on Friday.
Members to submit report to Akhilesh Yadav
According to the party, on the instructions of the party chief Akhilesh Yadav, the delegation will visit the violence-hit district and after gathering the information about the violence, the members will submit their report to the party supremo.

Earlier, the party had postponed the proposed visit of its delegation after receiving assurance from the DGP that a fair probe would be done in the case.
The district administration has imposed prohibitory orders and barred the entry of outsiders till Saturday after violence errupted following a trail court-mandated survey of Shahi Idgah Masjid.

While speaking outside the Parliament, Samajwadi Party Lok Sabha MP Dimple Yadav sought an impartial probe into the recent violence.
Mainpuri MP said: "We need impartial probe into the Sambhal violence. I hope that a fair probe will be done under the supervision of the Supreme Court. It's very important issue."

Supreme Court on Sambhal
Earlier in the day, the Supreme Court asked the Trial court not to proceed with the survey of the Mosque till the committee of the Mosque approached the Allahabad High Court to challenge the trial court's order.
The Apex Court paused the Trail court action after the Mosque Committee filed a plea challenging the order passed by the trial court ordering the survey of the Mosque. (With Agency Inputs)
