Uterus transplants to be performed in Sydney next year in Australian first

A New South Wales woman is set to become one of the first people in Australia to receive a uterus transplant as part of a landmark research project at the Royal Hospital for Women in Sydney.

Coffs Harbour woman Kirsty Bryant, 29, will undergo surgery early next year to receive a donated uterus from her mother, Michelle, 53.
