A 65-year-old driver has died in a crash with a freight train at Winninowie in South Australia's north.
The man's ute collided with the train about 12:30pm on Friday near the Augusta Highway, south-east of Port Augusta.
Major crash investigators from Adelaide have attended the scene and are continuing to examine the circumstances, police said.
"Sadly, the driver and sole occupant of the Holden, a 65-year-old man from the Copper Coast, died at the scene," police said.
They have asked anyone who witnessed the crash but has not yet spoken to police, or could not stop at the scene, to contact Crime Stoppers, on 1800 333 000 or online.
The man's death is the 23rd on South Australia's roads this year.
Alleged drink drivers stripped of licences
Meanwhile, two alleged drink drivers in Adelaide have lost their licences for 12 months after they were caught at the wheel of the same car, police said.
Both men were allegedly more than four times the legal blood-alcohol limit.
Police were called to a minor crash between two cars at Lonsdale last night and breath-tested both drivers, one of whom allegedly returned a positive result.
While police were speaking to him, a passenger allegedly got into the driver's seat and started the engine, before police arrested him.
The driver, a 39-year-old Morphett Vale man, was reported for drink driving after he allegedly returned a blood-alcohol reading of 0.205.
The passenger, a 38-year-old Hallett Cove man, was reported for stating false details, and also for drink driving after he allegedly returned a blood-alcohol reading of 0.229.
