How’d your Friday after Thanksgiving Day going? Are you stretched across the couch recovering from having too many leftovers? I am, and I’ve had the pleasure of being glued to the television today and all of the fantastic college sports.
One game I caught was a college football contest between the Mountain West’s Utah State (+17) and Boise State, which ended in a wild way that might make some spread bettors want to vomit that leftover turkey.
Trailing by 12 with under a minute to play, Utah State quarterback Cooper Legas was intercepted by Boise State safety Seyi Oladipo, who returned the INT 48 yards for a touchdown.
The pick-6 didn’t only make the Aggies’ deficit even more impossible to overcome, but it also gave the Broncos a 19-point lead, which led to them covering the 17-point spread they entered with.

Prayers and thoughts to those who had bet on Utah State.
Meanwhile, those who wagered on Boise State to cover have another reason to be thankful this holiday season.
