A video shared on social media captured the players trekking through the streets, with one player, Maveric Lamoureux, confirming that the bus was completely immobilized.
The traffic snarl was exacerbated by the closure of several city streets for the annual Santa Claus parade, adding to the challenge of navigating through Toronto's busy roads. Despite the unusual commute, the Maple Leafs managed to secure a 3-2 victory over the Utah Hockey Club, marking their fourth consecutive win.
