Health officials in northern Utah are investigating a Salmonella outbreak involving 21 confirmed cases across Cache and Box Elder counties, and they have not identified what is making people sick.
The Bear River Health Department announced the outbreak investigation Tuesday, saying it is actively working to determine the source and taking steps to limit further spread. The department has not named a food, a restaurant, an event, a water source, or an animal exposure.
