'Useless club' - Manchester United fans furious as Europa Conference League looms

Manchester United fans are fearing the worst after their side fell behind against Crystal Palace and West Ham took the lead at Brighton, leaving Ralf Rangnick's side facing qualification for the Europa Conference League.

Midway through the first half, with Erik ten Hag watching on, a wayward pass from Bruno Fernandes found its way to Wilfried Zaha who jinked his way inside and picked out the bottom corner.

Meanwhile, on the south coast, Michail Antonio fired home from range to put West Ham in front as they leapfrogged United to take sixth place. Ten Hag has already expressed his desire to take United back to the top, but he may be forced to endure a season in the Europa Conference League.

However, things got a little better for United early in the second half as Joel Veltman equalised for Brighton, meaning United now occupy sixth spot once again. Despite the reprieve, fans had already expressed their disbelief at what was going on at Selhurst Park.
