USCIS Confirms Salvadoran TPS Work Permits Remain Valid Past the Sept. 9 Deadline

What USCIS's Alert Actually Says

The U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services displays an alert and holding notice on its El Salvador designated-country page rather than a ruling. The agency's own wording is blunt about the uncertainty but clearly states that current TPS beneficiaries keep their protections, including permission to work, until "an announcement on El Salvador's TPS is be made at the appropriate time."
