USA captain Tyler Adams is 'perfect' for Leeds United, according to Arsenal goalscoring legend Ian Wright. The Whites midfielder has been a big impression at Elland Road since signing from RB Leipzig in the summer.
And he has gone on to star for his country at the World Cup in Qatar, starring in the opening 1-1 draw with Wales and putting in another strong performance in Friday night's goalless draw with England.
Adams may be just 23, but he's already established himself as a key man for Jesse Marsch and Leeds United, playing in 13 of their 14 Premier League matches to date. He will be a big miss against Manchester City when the season resumes, having picked up a red card in the 4-3 defeat to Tottenham.

It's his energy which has impressed Wright, however, as he revealed in ITV's coverage of Friday nights game.
"A lot of energy, I think Tyler Adams is a massive plus for them, what he does in the midfield.," Wright said. "Tyler Adams is the one, drives them forward, perfect for Leeds, that’s why they started so well."
Adams will be available for Leeds United's trip to take on Newcastle United at St James' Park on New Year's Day.
