Two American teenagers claiming they were en route to submit enlistment papers at a United States Marine Corps recruiter were forcefully detained, pepper-sprayed, and struck by federal officers during a chaotic encounter in Alamo, Texas.

The 11 September 2026 incident involving 17-year-old Luis Ochoa and his same-aged friend has ignited a fierce national firestorm after circulating video footage captured Immigration and Customs Enforcement personnel surrounding a vehicle, pulling occupants onto the pavement, and deploying chemical sprays.
