US Soccer Federation announce landmark agreement to pay men’s and women’s teams equally

The United States Soccer Federation have confirmed they have struck a historic deal to pay their men’s and women’s team equally.

Under the milestone agreements, which run through 2028, U.S. Soccer becomes the first Federation in the world to equalize FIFA World Cup prize money awarded to both women’s and men’s teams for participation in their respective World Cups.
