US President Donald Trump has warned every public school in America that advising children they are 'trapped in the wrong body' amounts to 'child abuse', putting the entire public education system on notice over how it handles transgender guidance.
The administration says schools that follow what it calls 'radical gender ideology' could face civil rights investigations and the loss of federal funding.
