U.S. prosecutors have requested that a judge drop criminal fraud and conspiracy charges against Indian billionaire Gautam Adani, who had faced accusations of deceiving investors in a substantial solar energy initiative in India.
Adani, counted among the world's wealthiest individuals, was accused in 2024 of paying significant bribes to ensure the project's success.
