The 2017 and 2022 PGA champion Justin Thomas speaks to Sky. “It’s very very special. Any time you win is obviously great, but getting it done in different ways teaches you a lot. It’s a great learning opportunity. I fought so hard today. I was out of it, then back in. This golf course is tough, winning a major is tough. I stayed patient and when I somehow got myself in that play-off, it was time to get after it and get it done. I didn’t look at a leaderboard today. We were just out there playing Southern Hills on a beautiful day. I knew all the players ahead of me were great players, but they hadn’t won a major, and it’s a big moment. I know I’m very nervous, so I know they’re very nervous. All I could do was control what I can, and if it’s good enough, great, but if not, so be it. It’s so nice to hear two-time instead of one-time!”
