NEW YORK: On a blistering hot day, Rohan Bopanna and Aussie Mathew Ebden set the pace against the British pair of Julian Cash and Henry Patten. The sixth seeds then took it up a notch in the home stretch to move into the quarterfinals of the US Open.
Bopanna's screaming down-the-line forehand winner settled the increasingly tight affair in his team's favour, taking the Indo-Aussie duo to a 6-4, 6-7(5), 7-6 (10-6) win.
