US Open 2022: Full schedule, seedings, match times, prize money and latest odds for Flushing Meadows

Grand Slam tennis returns for the final time in 2022 with the US Open at Flushing Meadows well underway.

This time a year ago, Emma Raducanu was storming first through qualifying and then then main draw, as she went all the way in New York without dropping a single set in truly remarkable fashion.

Consistency has been an issue since then but the 19-year-old has showed signs of returning to her fearless best and returns to the scene of her greatest triumph as the 11th seed.

One of those impressive recent wins was against Serena Williams, who is set to bring down the curtain on her tennis career at the end of the tournament. The 24-time Grand Slam champion beat Danka Kovinic in the first round to delay her retirement.

Andy Murray and Cameron Norrie are both safely through to the second round after comfortable wins, where they are joined by Daniel Evans, Jack Draper and Harriet Dart after a strong start from the British contingent.

Novak Djokovic is not competing in New York, unable to travel due to his vaccination status and as it stands he will have to wait until the French Open in May to add to his major tally.

Dates and venue

The US Open started on Monday, August 29, 2022, and runs for 14 straight days until Sunday, September 11.

As ever, it is being played at Flushing Meadows in New York.
